This module looks to demonstrate the importance of Bookkeepers within organisations, and the responsibilities placed upon them, as well as the impact their role has for organisation. We'll cover the recording of transactions within an organisations daybooks, the transfer to ledgers, producing a trial balance, and completing a VAT return. We'll also look at the documentation and management of both inventory, looking into FIFO and weighted averages, as well as labour costs, looking into the rate per hour basis, and piecework basis.
